Overview:
Cobalt Housing is looking to appoint a Solutions Developer to join our newly formed Digital department (that covers ICT, Technology and Digital Transformation).
Working as part of a wider Project team, this role is key to the implementation of new systems, and to build solutions on the Housing Association's low-code platform.
- **Solutions Developer Apprentice
Salary:
£41,800 per annum, rising to £44,000 upon successful completion of probation (inclusive of Cobalt's cost of living award, effective 1st March 2023)
Location:
Croxteth, Liverpool, L11 2SF
Duties:
The apprentice will:
- Be responsible for gaining understanding current and evolving business needs working in conjunction with the lead business analyst/partner
- Be responsible for defining and implementing required integration of the apps and core systems

- Drive, as it is is an essential requirement for this role, you will need to hold a fullUK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
Entry criteria / qualifications:
- The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider
- OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test
- OR 2 years' experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test
Working week:
Cobalt has a 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, and we are currently in the middle of looking at a more agile and flexible way of working, as we realise that work/life balance has never been so important.
