Imperial Professionals are delighted to announce that we are working exclusively on behalf of a long established engineering organisation to recruit a HSE Administrator on a permanent basis.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting the HSE Manager with day to day HSE and quality activities.
DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Record and review all accidents and near misses to ensure they are documented and reported in line with requirements, and monitor close out completion status
- Record and review all 5S Audits to ensure they are completed in line with requirements and communicate completion status regularly
- Promote adherence to 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times
- Conduct plant wide 5S and safety audits and report findings back to relevant supervisors
- Carry out, review and update risk assessments in line with a schedule, and monitor and update the schedule when required
- Assisting with preparation for health and safety audits carried out by stakeholders
- Arrange employee medicals, ensuring these are completed with the allocated timeframes
- Liaise with Occupational Health provider to ensure all occupational health needs are met for employees
- Attend and minute monthly health and safety committee meetings
- Carry out internal audits against the company management system and processes
- Review and update management policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure relevance to current practice
- Assisting with audit preparation for external audits (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001)
- Provide support to Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation in relation to Health, Safety & Environmental matters.
- Assist the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager with any projects relating to the areas of responsibility
- Supporting the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to ensure that the Company meets all health, safety and environmental legislation requirements
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:
- NEBOSH certificate preferable but not essential
- A driving license is essential due to having multiple sites to cover
- Experience/exposure to ISO certification requirements
- The ability to work independently or as part of a larger team
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
- First aid training
