About this job:


  • The delivery of a robust and stable housing management system and service.
  • The continuous improvement of the housing systems.
  • The effective leadership and development of the IT housing systems team and contractors.
  • Engaging with business stakeholders, business partners and other IT Services
  • A handson approach to the delivery of the service, this is not just a managerial role and be experienced in housing practices for example year ends, rent processes, arrears, mutual exchange, tenancies, leaseholders, asset management, repairs, tenancy, finances
  • HB, Universal Credit, tenancies etc to deliver the Business as Usual (BAU) operational requirements of the service, have excellent knowledge of housing regulations, and experienced with the demands, deadlines, and implementation of such regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure a highquality incident management service in line with the SLA whilst providing a positive experience to the client.
  • Implementation of new IT housing projects and technologies.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to act as a project resource to deliver IT housing projects.

Special requirements for this post:


  • A DBS Check is required for this role.
  • Lead and develop the permanent members of the housing systems team, ensure each team member is proficient with all aspects of the housing system, can switch between working on projects and helpdesk.
  • This is a managerial/handson role, you will be heavily involved in year ends processes, rent processes, arrears, asset management, repairs, tenancy, finances
  • HB, Universal Credit, tenancies, batch processing etc.
  • Experienced in engaging with business stakeholders, business partners and other IT Services to deliver the service.
