An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Haematology Department as Cancer Waits Coordinator/Data Quality Coordinator.


We are seeking a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work at pace to complete tasks in a timely manner.

They must possess a good knowledge of Referral to Treatment (RTT), managing patient pathways, a good knowledge of Lorenzo (and ideally Infoflex), and a good understanding of the RTT and Cancer Waits targets.


The post holder will work in a hybrid way working in a team with other Cancer Waits Coordinator/Data Quality Coordinators to ensure sufficient resource is available at all times to continually progress patient pathways and complete mandatory reporting within set deadlines.


Cancer Waits Coordinator - ensure accurate and timely data collection, identify potential breaches, investigate and provide analysis on cancer pathways, complete validation reports, provide cancer tracking duties.


Data Quality Coordinator - tracking and progressing patients on open pathways, identify data quality trends/issues and support training of staff to address the issues, validate pathways and correct errors, complete validation reports.
