We are actively seeking a 12 month fixed term contractor
Team Lead to join our Underwriting Operations team in London
.

In this role, you will oversee and fully own task allocation for your team of Underwriting Assistants and Senior Underwriting Assistants.

You will play a key role in ensuring business needs are met daily by leading your team in maintaining efficient underwriting processes and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

What you'll do:

Ensure SLAS are consistently met by your team and any performance issues are appropriately recognized, challenged and resolved
Own the team workflow tool, ensuring data is present, accurate and reliable
Maintain and develop key relationship with internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries in an accurate and timely fashion
Help maintain team standards through supporting other team members in achieving their service/quality levels and targets as needed
Craft professional development plans for all members of your team, helping develop their knowledge, skills and abilities to create a highperforming team

Skills and experience you'll bring:

***- Managerial experience is preferred, with positive motivation and attested relationship management skills

Proven administrative experience, preferably within the insurance or financial sectors
Experience within a team responsible for high volume data entry
Knowledge of underwriting processes and systems
Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively as a part of a team, and a customer centric focus
Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines

***Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individual's location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is £50,000 - £55,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus.
