Yuill + Kyle are a part of MacRoberts LLP and are based in their offices in Glasgow's International Financial Services District.

They are one of Scotland's leading debt recovery and credit control law firms. With over 100 years of experience, they are specialists in resolving disputed and undisputed debts.

They work with businesses who have volume debts and those with occasional needs. They specialise in Scottish law but work with clients throughout the world.

Pre-sue, Fast track collections, Judgement enforcement, Insolvency, Bankruptcy & Liquidation.


Overview:


An employer who is keen on developing young talent, they have a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join their Glasgow office where you will report to the Director of Yuill & Kyle and will gain experience working in a small but busy team.

This is a great opportunity to start your career in an office environment.

As an apprentice you will deal with Pre

  • Legal Action, Legal Action & Judgment Enforcement.
You will be an integral part of the team and will learn all aspects of the role.


Duties will include:


  • Presue collections to include telephone collections.
  • Daily use of fully integrated case management system known as 'solcase' which will be used for all foregoing correspondence, drafting and case management. Letters, court actions and case notes are all recorded within the system.
  • You will be responsible for diary management which is integrated with Microsoft Teams.
  • Escalating pre legal action to court proceedings.
  • Drafting court action, submitting action to court which is all done via Solcase System.

Working week:

Monday - Friday,
9am - 5pm,
35hrs per week.


Salary:

£15,000 per annum.

Future prospects:

There will be an opportunity to gain a salary increase upto £17,500 per annum after 6 months.
