Description

Due to future service expansion we are looking for motivated individuals to take their next career step as a Resuscitation Officer.

These posts and part of a large scale expansion to the current clinical, operational and educational team. There are fixed term vacancies available.


We are looking for highly motivated individuals to play a key role in a team responsible for delivery of high quality resuscitation services across University Hospitals Birmingham 4 hospital sites.


The post holder will be part of the cardiac arrest / medical emergency team, teach on resuscitation courses and participate with improvement projects and audits which will contribute to improved patient care and outcomes.


You will be aqualified nurse, paramedic or ODPwith atleast 3 years post registrationexperience of which 18 months will have been in an acute / critical care area.

You must be a Resuscitation Council UK Advanced Life Support provider or if you do not hold ALS provider status; options will be discussed based on your individual circumstances.

It is desirable to hold ALS and/or EPALS Instructor status and hold a recognised teaching qualification but not essential. You must be able to fulfil the cross site travel requirements of the post. You should have good interpersonal, organisational and managerial skills and be computer literate.
