External Engagement & Interface Manager / FTC until June 2024 / £35,000 - £45,000 / Milton Keynes (Hybrid)

Overview:

My client, a non-departmental public body are looking to recruit an External Engagement & Interface Manager to join them on a FTC until June 2024.

The role is responsible for supporting the Senior Engagement & Interface Managers in the delivery of the CommunityEngagement Team.

The role will also support the management, assurance, coordination and provision of guidance to the engagement and delivery teams working within the Integrated Project Team.

Role & Responsibilities:

To be responsible for supporting the delivery of community and stakeholder engagement activity for the organisations development
Identifying and escalating any stakeholder engagement and interface issues and also any risks
To be responsible for supporting and developing the content of HS2 community websites to ensure consistency and quality of information
To provide local knowledge to the delivery teams
To attend meetings and travel to construction sites

Skills & Experience:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to network, influence and develop relationships by building trust with stakeholders
Understanding of complex political environment issues
Experience of working in a political and/or regulated environment sector
Able to make decisions independently

Package:

- £35,000 - £45, % Flex Fund
