Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is part of the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT), a collaborative of the NHS hospital trusts from across West Yorkshire and Harrogate working together to provide the best possible care for our patients.


The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the Trust has robust and efficient systems in place for the promotion of career opportunities and vacancies on all relevant social media channels.


The postholder will develop, implement and manage the Trust's social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platforms determination, messages and audience identification.


The postholder will lead a team of HR Advisors ensuring the essential requirements of safe, legal and values-based recruitment are met at all times with a focus on customer service.


The post holder will work closely with senior managers and external partners to lead, develop and implement robust social media recruitment campaigns.


Work with Trust managers to design and implement recruitment campaigns analysing complex information to decide on the most appropriate way of utilising social media tools appropriately and providing advice on the design of job adverts.


Plan recruitment campaigns deciding on appropriate timelines and most productive ways to promote and attract employees particularly for areas where a shortage exists.

To proactively monitor, manage and develop social media platforms. To ensure an effective social media campaign is in place to promote current jobs within the Trust. Linking with current marketing campaigns and external providers to promote BTHFT as a sought-after employer.

To support the development and delivery of international recruitment campaigns.

To support with recruitment events/open days and to provide support in monitoring appropriate numbers of attendees.


To create good working relationships with schools, colleges and further and higher education providers to promote opportunities and careers within the Trust.

To provide expert HR advice where required especially in the areas of recruitment and terms and conditions of service.


To undertake project work where required in the areas of recruitment, terms and conditions of service and further advice in general HR policies and procedure.

To attend network events and meetings as required and establish professional relationships with key internal and external partners.

Assist with the development, monitoring and delivery of business and service improvement plans and processes towards Trust and national policies and targets.

Support the recruitment team to deliver targets for the service.

Responsible for designing and delivering recruitment & selection training.

Ensure the local implementation of Trust policies and procedures e.g. people, corporate governance, health and safety.

Foster a culture of service innovation and change.

Lead by example in developing a professional set of behaviours to deliver an enhanced service.

Responsible for the delivery of all key performance measures within own area of responsibility.

Carry out audit checks in line with Trust procedures and support audits carried out by relevant auditors.

Ensure administration processes support efficient recruitment pathways.
