Description
The post holder will be responsible for providing clinic administration and reception support for the CMHT Services.

This will include receiving and greeting service users and their carers into clinic areas whilst recording the service users' attendance and clinical outcome on the electronic patient record system (EPR), along with other administrative duties commensurate to the grade.


The post holder will be interactive with the general public, nursing, medical staff, professionals and other Trust administrative and clerical staff and will ensure all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an efficient reception and quality service to all users.

The reception service opening hours are at present, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. A flexible approach to working is essential.


In order to meet the needs of the Trust services you may be required, from time to time, to work outside of your normal area of work to cover absence / sickness.

The Trust reserves the right to change your normal area of work to any other location within the Bolton Trust services.

Be the first line of contact for both face to face and telephone visitors and service users

Responsible for communicating effectively and professionally to service users, carers and other members of staff at all times.

Responsible for checking and recording all patients demographic details and entering onto the EPR (electronic patient record) system


Responsible for clerical processes associated with the non-attendance of outpatients and assist with the booking in of service user appointments.
