Description
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our small team.The role involves working with people to resolve healthcare related issues, therefore, excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as is an understanding of the health and social care issues affecting our population.
You will be supporting and working with the team to deliver a patient-centred service to patients, relatives and carers who raise concerns and enquiries.
You will act as a point of contact for service users, providing information, signposting and working with Trust staff and external health and social care organisations to aid in prompt resolution of concerns.
You will be responsible for managing a daily case load and ensure that data regarding PALS concerns and enquiries are recorded on the Trust's database.
You should have an ability to liaise effectively, with an understanding of person centred approaches to ensure good outcomes for patients, their families and carers.
This is an excellent opportunity to support those who use NHS services and to help bring about changes to the way that services are delivered.
