The Inside Sales team are a successful, diverse and sociable group, working together to drive new business and maintain customer loyalty.

This role will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing the diversity of customer accounts for the region through frequent and meaningful customer interactions, and careful planning and forecasting to ensure the best return on investment.


What you'll be doing

  • Executes account activity and success positioning as a key contact throughout the lifecycle of the customer.
  • Supports the implementation of the BT group sales strategy with key customer accounts in order to contribute to the growth of revenue pools.
  • Supports and drives as a member of an account facing team empowering an ability to drive outcomes within the portfolio of accounts areas by selling strategic services.
  • Provides support when reaching out and prospecting to corporates that aren't active customers.
  • Supports customers' success by acting as a facilitator to meet a needs.
  • Supports account leads in addressing customer needs and challenges.
  • Collates comprehensive information on products and services, ensuring knowledge is current.
  • Supports critical customer-facing activities including executive engagement, company visits, briefings, and ideation workshops.
  • Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the account management team.

What we'd like to see from you

  • Experience in winning sales, either as part of an overall account team or with closing own contracts where acting as the single point of contact
  • Proven track record of delivering against targets within a sales role with accurate forecasting and consistent delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with customers
  • Takes action based on analysis of trends including changing customer demand to enhance sales performance
  • Owns customer problems and delivers resolutions
  • Ability to deal with challenging customer predicaments and customer opportunities through internal escalation and senior stakeholder engagement
  • Works collaboratively with the wider sales community, providing and welcoming team feedback
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo where more effective and efficient routes are identified
  • Able to build Clevel valuable relationships and identify customer champions, pains, needs etc
