We are delighted to be able to offer a development opportunity to join our Children and Young People's Integrated Therapies service as a locality Team Lead.
We are looking to appoint a team lead on a part time basis for a fixed term of 12 months.
If you are a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech & Language Therapist who is passionate about building teams, providing innovative and evidenced based services, and are keen to develop your leadership skills, this opportunity could be just right for youThe post would be based in St Albans and would cover St Albans and Hemel Hempstead areas.
You will lead an integrated team of therapists and assistant practitioners together with a team lead partner, and work alongside other team lead colleagues; be supported by Operational leads; and have access to HCT's leadership development opportunities.
You will be expected to use leadership skills to support a high functioning specialist team.You will have day to day operational responsibility for a quality service delivery as well as the opportunity to take on service development projects.
The post-holder will:
Be responsible for the day to day management of the team, and provide support to a team of therapists and assistant practitioners ensuring an effective and high functioning team.
Ensure the policies and procedures of HCT are implemented and adhered to at all times and that team members are familiar with them.
Contribute actively to the promotion of CYP Therapies as a profession.
Participate in the recruitment and retention of staff.
Work alongside operational colleagues to ensure adequate management cover at all times
Lead on the continuous professional development of the workforce, supporting the Operational Lead with the development of services, performance capability, governance initiatives and the development of policy and practice.
