Job summary:

Here at Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC), we are inclusive and dedicated, working to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel


We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and adaptable Primary Care Rehabilitation Facility Administrator to join our supportive and welcoming team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff working within the Medical Centre located at RAF Marham, Kings Lynn.


The position offers 37 hours per week and requests to work flexibly will be considered, taking into account business needs.

Job description:

Person specification:


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Processing personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultations and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients and other team members.
  • Attending multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute accordingly. Taking minutes and distributing and taking action where necessary.
  • Communicating effectively with other team members,patients and carers.
  • Recognising people's needs for alternative methods of communication and responding accordingly.

Desirable Skills:

  • Information Technology (IT) literate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be prepared to work as part of a team.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.

Selection process details:
