Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;

To carry out general maintenance work and operations, working with a chargehand, undertaking a wide range of routine and cyclical works.

To respond to incidents and callouts during or out of hours on rotas as required and to take part in out of hours standby and winter maintenance activities.

Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;

To work safely and be responsible for personal safety and that of others

To carry out all required checks of plant, equipment, and vehicles

To undertake works safely, as instructed without direct supervision

Formal qualifications required;

Hold a clean LGV driving licence (preferred but not essential)

Skills required;

Ideally, competent and trained to operate powered hand tools such as disc cutters, chainsaws, plate compactors, strimmer's and hedge cutters.
