The MHRA are looking for a motivated and passionate leader who will provide scientific and managerial leadership of the work of the Standards and Regulatory Governance team and be responsible for the production of the British Pharmacopoeia (BP) and BP ChemicalReference Substances, including acting as Secretary and Scientific Director to the BP Commission and member of the UK Delegation to the European Pharmacopoeia Commission.

The post holder will be accountable for the management and leadership of the Agency's chemical laboratory services, an Official Medicines Control Laboratory (OMCL) and for the management and leadership of the Regulatory Governance team, which is responsiblefor Inspection Action Group and Regulatory Advice processes.

This role would be perfect for someone who thrives on understanding the bigger picture and tackling complex system challenges that require innovative solutions.

A passion for translating your insight into strategy and implementation will be vital as we lookto evolve and transform our work in this area working with partners domestically and internationally.
