BAM Construction are recruiting a Part time Procurement Administrator. Working 3 days per week 8.45am - 5.00pm (Flexible)

The position will join our Scotland region of the construction business working as part of the procurement and supply chain team based in our Stepps Office.

Your mission

To provide general assistance and support to the Procurement Manager in carrying out their duties within the Procurement department. The role will be principally administrative and will involve processing various orders and reports as well as keeping them updated, stored and issued as required.

Some of the more specific tasks are noted below:

Checking subcontract order requests from surveyors (including all signatures are completed).
Creating subcontract orders, via SAP.
Addressing any queries, scan, post & file hard copy of orders.
Addressing delivery & pricing queries (including allocating cost codes), via Alusta.
Creating ad hoc reports for Procurement Team e.g.
Constructionline
Mobile Phones
Requesting updates from Commercial/Preconstruction team on standard reports.

Who are we looking for?

Overview of PPE ordering by site teams & office staff.
Liaising with Finance re updating vendor information.
Updating and Issuing of Scottish Tracker every 4 weeks to Subcontractors/Suppliers.
Any other related task to assist the Procurement function with their daily activities.
