RedbridgeCVS is the local umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Redbridge.

We are a small, friendly team based in central Ilford - just 20 minutes by train from Liverpool Street station.

Every year we support over 350 local voluntary and community groups, helping them to flourish and make a difference in their communities.

We are looking for people with a passion for health and wellbeing to join our team of Outreach Workers.

Our outreach workers will work with local residents, communities, and voluntary and community groups to share key health messages, challenge stigma, and gather insight into the experiences and barriers faced by local people.

The team will also connect residents and communities with local services and community/charity organisations.

You will do outreach in a variety of community venues across Redbridge (e.g., libraries, community events), as well as conduct regular door knocking to reach as many people across the borough as possible.

You will work across a range of health priorities including TB, cancer screening, and vaccination uptake. You don't need to have any existing expertise in health conditions or vaccinations as training will be provided.

We are looking for people with strong interpersonal skills who enjoy engaging with a wide range of people. You will also need to have good local knowledge of Redbridge and the communities we serve.
