OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB


Freemans Event Partners provides event services including food and beverage courts, payment solutions, brand activations, product wholesale and event management at circa 400 events a year, working in partnership with prestigious sporting and entertainment venues such as Silverstone Circuit and Twickenham Stadium.


As part of the Group Marketing team, the Marketing Assistant will support with the execution of all group and event marketing activity working closely with the two marketing executives, the designer and 6 sales divisions (Bars, Technologies, Logistics, Concessions, Catering, Brand Partnerships).


This is a very busy office-based role that would suit someone with a passion for events and with a willingness to learn.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the briefing, production and delivery of food and drink communications at events for online and printed collateral including:
  • Compiling pre-event content for all agreed venues and events
  • Creating briefs and briefing designers/agencies
  • Sourcing the most appropriate collateral for events
  • Organising print & delivery on time and in budget
  • Managing onsite delivery of spectator communications
  • Assist with content creation and artworking across a range of assets including but not limited to: menus and tariffs, digital facing screens content, presentations, etc using the Adobe Suite and Premier Pro. Training can be provided with design suite.
  • Assist with the production of photography and video content including:
  • Helping with content production on site
  • Tagging all images
  • Circulating links to photo/video library internally after each event
  • Assist with market research activities including:
  • On-site surveys and post-event feedback
  • Analysing data and compiling reports for the marketing team and key stakeholder
  • Competitor research
  • Data / reports research for presentations and press announcements
  • Assist with the production of Group and Divisional marketing materials and literature, such as web content, brochures and case studies
  • Upload copy and assets to the website, social media pages, libraries, toolkits and databases
  • Assist with venue liaison, client presentations and new pitches
  • Adhoc admin support including: updating budget sheets and creating purchase orders
  • Act as company brand guardian ensuring merchandise, uniforms and all company assets are on brand

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Essential

  • Proficiency in MS Office packages, especially Excel & Power Point
  • Working to a degree or professional qualification in business management or marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Highly motivated and selfreliant with the ability to learn quickly

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite & Premier Pro software (training can be provided)
