Part-Time Nanny in Thorpe Bay Essex

Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency are seeking a reliable and experienced part-time nanny to join a loving family in providing care for their two boys, aged 8 1/2 (twins) and 2 1⁄2.

This position is primarily an after-school role, with potential for additional hours during holidays. The nanny will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children.

Days and Hours:

Monday: 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Tuesday: 7am until 8.30am & 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Wednesday: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Thursday: 7am until 8.30am & 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Friday: 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM

22 hours per week

Responsibilities:

School Pick-Up:

The nanny will be responsible for dropping off and picking up the children from Alleyn Court school using the familys car.

Therefore, a clean UK driving licence is required.

Meal Preparation:
Planning and cooking balanced meals for the children, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.

Homework Support:
Assisting the children with reading, homework, and any educational activities.

Bath and Bedtime Routine:
Helping the children get showered/bathed, dressed, and ready for bed.

Playtime and Games:
Engaging the children in fun and age-appropriate games, activities, and playdates.

Organisation and Prep:
Assisting in preparing school bags and uniforms for the following day.

Tidying Up:
Ensuring the children's area is kept tidy and organised.

Additional Opportunities:

School Holidays Full-Time Care:
If available, there is an opportunity for full-time care during the school holidays

Qualifications:

Prior childcare experience, particularly with children of similar ages.

Genuine love for working with children and providing a caring, supportive environment.

Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.

Paediatric First aid

Enhanced DBS on the update service ( agency can assist )

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents effectively.

Strong organisational skills to manage schedules, meals, and activities efficiently.
