Applications are invited for the above posts starting in February 2024 / April 24, for an initial period of 6 months with the potential to be extended until February 2026.
The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital Orthopaedic department is one of the largest Arthroplasty units within the UK, with 20 orthopaedic Consultants, two of whom specialise in foot and ankle surgery and one in hand and wrist surgery.
The department undertakes approximately 4000 primary and revision joint replacements and over 500 other elective orthopaedic procedures (including soft tissue knee surgery and hand) per year.
The Foot and Ankle Unit is a high volume centre for elective surgery with over 600 elective orthopaedic procedures each year and is a high volume centre for total ankle replacements.
