Description

We are working with a hugely successful Fintech who provide unique and bespoke software solutions for prestigious clients within the Investment Management space.

They're looking for a tech savvy qualified accountant with a strong fund accounting background to join their product team.

The product team is responsible for the realisation of the company's vision and business strategy, through the shaping and deliveryof the product roadmap.

More specifically, we are looking for a Technical Product Specialist/Consultant with expertise in the fund accounting technology sector.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make key contributions to the future of their fund accounting productoffering, and shape how clients interact with their Investment Data Management System.

Key objectives in this role will include:

Start with the client and work backwards to define your product vision and client needs.
Innovate and develop frictionfree products that solve problems for clients.
Manage business initiatives from conception through launch in conjunction with crossfunctional teams including engineering, operations, sales, marketing and finance.
Be the endtoend owner of product features, developing business cases, identifying the value proposition, define the client experience, build out the product requirements, launch plan and see the business through launch and client adoption.
Define key product performance indicators (KPIs), as well as releasespecific success metrics to enhance client experience and optimize the product.
Feed back into the pricing, strategy and overall business direction.

What skills, experience and qualifications they require:

Qualified/Chartered Accountant
10 years+ previous experience within the investment/fund accounting sector
Working knowledge across a fund accounting platform, such as: Advent Geneva, WorldInvestor, Temenos Multifonds, FIS investment Accounting, InvestOne Investment Accounting, Icon Fund Accounting
Previous experience within a Product Owner/Implementation Consultant/Business Analyst remit
Robust quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Excellent attention to detail, and good business acumen
