An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior experienced, dynamic, high performing midwife to join the senior midwifery management team as an In-Patient Matron within Maternity at Colchester Hospital.


We are looking for a clinically credible registered Midwife or Nurse with a broad range of experience and exceptional clinical ability.

We need someone who possesses strong clinical leadership and who has excellent communication and networking skills.


You will need to be self -motivated, enthusiastic and have a distinct passion for maternity services with a drive for continuous improvement in safety and experience.


The role is a challenging one, but one that you will be supported in and your personal and professional growth will be encouraged and developed.

This is a five day a week post, with on call commitment.
