Newstaff Recruitment Agency is recruiting for a Line Operative in Flitwick.

The business employs over 200 people in a multiple-shift operation supplying major blue-chip customers from 3 modern well-equipped factories using high-speed automated production techniques.

Line Operative in Flitwick:

Duties:

Ensure blenders/silos are kept filled with the required materials
Correct issuing of raw and WIP (work in progress) materials, including wadding materials, necessary for productiontoproduction lines
Checking and preparing bulk bins and pallets to support the packing of finished goods on the lines
Makeup cartons/boxed for the packing of finished goods
Ensure finished goods are correctly packed and labelled
Scanning and booking the finished packs into stock
Using companyspecific scanning software to ensure accurate traceability of all stock
Cleaning down machines and material handling equipment prior to the changeover
Colour changes
Dealing with minor machine and assembly equipment faults
General cleanliness and tidiness of the factory

Must:

Be physically fit
Able to read/write English and be numerically sound
Turn up to work
Want to work
Able to work a 12hour shift
Relevant experience working in a factory
Lift truck experience

Additional information:

Rotating Days 8 am to 8 pm while training you will work Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
Week 1 Work Monday, Tuesday, Week 1 of Wednesday, Thursday, Week 1 Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Week 2 Off Monday, Tuesday, Week 2 Work Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2 Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

- £11.13 per hour + 20% shift premium for all weekly hours worked
