Job Title:
EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

Start Date:
ASAP

Rate of Pay:
£12 - £13 per hour depending on experience

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4pm. 35 hours per week, term time only.

Location:
Primary school in Wavertree, Liverpool.

Duties:

To plan, deliver and assess own phonic and math's group
To carry out half termly assessments
To carry out formal and informal assessments/observations
Complete required paper work, play plans, PIVATS
Prepare and display resources linked to creative curriculum
To participate in weekly planning and assessment meetings
To support children with reading, writing & math's
To support children with SEN
To support children through playbased learning both indoor and outdoor classroom
To be able to follow children's interests
Read Write Inc trained
To have an understanding of the EYFS document & framework
To be able to work in a team and independently
A great personality and sense of humour.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Minimum Level 3 Child Care Qualification.
A thorough understanding of the EYFS and experience of working in an Early Years setting.
High standards of work and cleanliness.
A great work ethic and the ability to work as a team.
Confidence in working with small groups of children during adult led activities.
Experience of working with SEND is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work from your own initiative and independently as necessary.
Willingness to change nappies and meet the basic care needs of young children.
