This coordination post will be responsible for the review and the development of the Child Health Information Service for North Yorkshire and York.

To co-ordinate the implementation of national and local initiatives which affect Child Health departments with support from the Business Manager for Universal Children's Services.

The post holder will support the implementation of national and local initiatives which affect Child Health Information Systems departments. To understand and communicate any changes, to monitor progress and report on any delays, risks or issues

Review Key Performance Indicators for the Child Health Information Service and recommend any improvements.

The post holder will be required to have comprehensive knowledge of the operation of the Child Health Information Service and the use of SystmOne.

Be able to exercise initiative, with freedom to work autonomously within broad objectives to meet agreed objectives and national and local targets.

To undertake a range of complex duties and give support and expert advice to all organisations affiliated with Child Health.

Work with all Child Health Information Service Staff to facilitate expertise into effective running of the departments.

To organise and plan the input of all data to agreed timescales. To implement procedures to ensure the timely and accurate entry of the required data and any reporting required.
