As a TA / HLTA you will need to be able to connect with students and strike the balance with them to ensure they can progress on an academic and pastoral level.


As a TA / HLTA you need to believe in providing opportunities for students to become independent and well-rounded individuals, ready to embrace all that life has to offer.

You will develop and implement strategies that can support learning and progress.

You will need to be a patient and resilient individual as working as a TA / HLTA requires strong communication and collaboration.

A TA, HLTA at this school works on a full time basis supporting a student's learning inside and outside of the classroom.

This is primarily a class based position however it is very likely you will be required to deliver 1:1 withdrawal sessions at some stagein order to maintain the progress of the student's.

Working as a TA / HLTA will allow you to build up invaluable experience which can help to support you in your future career choice whether in a more senior support role or taking up fee free opportunities to study whilst working as a Teacher.

You will havethe opportunity to be a positive role model to those in need as well as having access to the outstanding CPD programme that our partnership school can offer.
