The role:


The role of the clinical support specialist/administrator is to ensure that the medical and operational teams are provided the means necessary to ensure effective delivery of our assisted repatriations, including liaising with hospitals and referring patients, being responsible for all medical equipment, pharmacy supplies, database control, invoice management and other tasks that the role may require.

An important responsibility of the position is the performance of quality assurance procedures to facilitate clinical governance throughout our medical teams.

These skills would ideally suit a paramedic.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Referring medical and surgical patients to the appropriate medical specialities in UK
  • Performing quality assurance for the medical team
  • Performing quality assurance for the medical escorts
  • Being responsible for the maintenance of effective stocks of medical equipment
  • Maintaining medical escort data base
  • Maintaining repatriation data base
  • Being responsible for financial claims from medical escorts
  • Being integral to the onboarding of new medical escort staff
  • Ordering of appropriate medications through suppliers and pharmacies
  • Checking in and out of medical equipment
  • Autonomously working to improve the effectiveness of the medical team
