An exciting opportunity has arisen for an analytical individual to join our Insurance Broker Accounts (IBA) team - who work closely with Lockton's clients and insurance underwriters to carry out the reconciliation and management of client money.


Based in our Brighton office, you will benefit from the support of a longstanding professional team to support this next stage in your career and professional development.


Role responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison for our clients or insurance underwriters constantly work to improve and strengthen relationships, and review processes to mutual benefit including instigating key insurer partnership meetings
  • Responsibility for the reconciliation of accounts by working with clients to ensure funds are collected, and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Responsibility for making premium payments (PPWs) to insurance underwriters to deadlines
  • Manage query escalation to Lockton's broking divisions and within IBA, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements
  • Maintain tracking systems and reports, and ensure accurate data and record management
  • Good numerical ability and an analytical mindset
  • Ability to compile, analyse and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making, with excellent attention to detail
  • An effective communicator, with the ability to build and maintain positive and successful business relationships with Lockton colleagues, our clients and insurers
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
  • An understanding of cash collection/payment processes is desirable (such as general insurance accounting and client invoicing)
