Position:
Electronics Team Leader


Location of Office:
Durham


Location of work:
Hybrid WFH available


Salary:
Up to £65, % pension, Private Healthcare and 28 days holiday + bank holidays


The Role:

Our award-winning, innovation led client are now looking for an Electronics Team Leader to lead and grow their electronics engineering team.

This role will be technically hands on and will also involve managing a small team of engineers, leading projects, and taking responsibility for strategy and process level decisions.

If you are a technically hands on electronics engineering/R&D manager or a senior electronics engineer looking to take that step up this could be the role for you.


Key Skills and Experience Required:


  • Electronics design skills
  • Team leadership experience
  • Project leadership experience
  • Experience as a Technical authority
  • Customer facing skills


As the lead in the Electronics team, you will be expected to take technical ownership, allocate work packages and take on day to day management responsibility for the team.

You will also be required to be the technical face of the company with new customers and at appropriate stages of the process, so can expect to liaise with customers face to face and via video calls.

Therefore, experience in similar scenarios and the communication skills required for such tasks are required.


Desirable Skills and Experience:


  • Experience within the medical or healthcare tech industries
  • Team and technical management experience
  • Experience with wireless connected devices
