Description
The apprenticeship will be delivered via a blended delivery of online training, classroom teaching and supported development on the job over a period of 15 months before undertaking your End Point Assessment between months 15-18.
An apprenticeship consists of four main elements:
- Initial assessment
- On Programme learning & job specific training
- Functional skills maths / English (if required)
- End Point Assessment
- are legally allowed to work & reside in the UK
As Sustainability Project Officer:
You will be implementing, monitoring and progressing actions relating to the Trust's award-winning Travel Plan.
The role will be the main contact point for staff on the Trust's TravelSmart campaign and be responsible for ensuring the Trust meets the obligations in its Travel Plan.
You will:
- provide specialist advice on sustainable travel and will develop and implement these strategies in cooperation with other stakeholders
- develop and run travel related initiatives, engaging with staff and the public
- provide specialist advice on sustainable travel
- Support projects to deliver sustainable change
YOU:
The successful Sustainability Project Officer will:
- have a passion for the environment, sustainability and helping others
- Have knowledge of sustainable local and national travel initiatives and groups
- have excellent communication skills to influence and encourage behavioural change
