The Medical Resourcing team are looking for an experienced HR professional for this permanent, full-time post based at Watford General Hospital.

This is a challenging and rewarding role in a forward-thinking team where progression and development is supported and encouraged.


The postholder provides support to the Trust in booking temporary Medical staff, as well as supporting the high-profile Direct Engagement project.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a sound base of HR knowledge, the ability to provide excellent customer-focussed service and performance against tight deadlines.

The role requires a highly organised and motivated individual, with an ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work effectively in a team environment.


There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are planned as part of the New Hospital Programme.

These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.

The postholder works as part of the Medical Resourcing Team and is specifically responsible for being the named contact for booking temporary medical staff in one of our clinical Divisions.

As part of this role, the postholder will also act as primary point of contact for Direct Engagement bookings for agency Medical staff within the Trust.

The post holder will need to liaise with HR colleagues, Trust management, temporary staffing agencies, the NHS Procurement teams and all Divisions in respect of discharging these duties.
