ProTech are looking for a SMT Operators for a permanent position for our client who is based in Bedford.
Our client is a well-established Electronics manufacturer with over 30 years in the industry. Due to rapid growth they are now looking for an SMT Operator to join their team.
As a SMT Operator you will be responsible for running, supporting and developing a new SMT line.
This position involves operating the SMT equipment and working closely with engineers to improve processes. You will also get the chance to progress your career in a forward-thinking company.
SMT Operator Requirements:
- Experience operating SMT machines is essential
- Ideally Europlacer SMT machine experience
- Understand the requirements of SMT PCB Standards
- Strong background in Inspection (AOI, Xray)
- IPC understanding
- Ability to read manufacturing documentation
SMT Operator Responsibilities:
- Setup and run SMT lines to specified efficiency and process quality levels
- Ensure product meets IPC 610 to the specified class
- Input and preparation of process control documentation
- Fully responsible for quality and output
