The role:

We are partnered with Primary and Secondary schools in Ellesmere Port who are seeking to appoint full time SEN Teaching Assistants to work with children with Special Educational Needs such as suspected Autism, Speech and Language Difficulties and other learningdifficulties in EYFS through to all Key Stages.

Both SEN Teaching Assistant roles in Ellesmere Port will involve supporting in the main class on a one-to-one basis and small group basis, to ensure the children can access the intended learning outcome and are kept engaged throughout the day.

Key Skills:

To be a successful SEN teaching Assistant you must have a caring, positive, and resilient attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team, and the ability to use your initiative and to work without supervision.

Have a Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2 or above
Have a Degree in Education or equivalent
Hold CACHE Level 2 or above
Hold a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 or above
