We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Cannock, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his family home.


Meet our service user
Our service user is a male in his teens, who lives in his family home in Cannock. He is overall a happy boy who enjoys social activities and attending school.

As his dedicated healthcare assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting him 1:1 throughout the night.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to monitoring, administering medications, and providing support with any of his clinical needs.


Beyond the medical aspects, you will offer comfort and reassurance to both the teenager and his family to ensure he has a restful night's sleep for a fun filled day at school.


It would be ideal if you have previously worked with service users who are nonverbal or who have limited verbal communication however this isn't essential.


We are looking for staff are happy to learn basic British Sign Language or Makaton to improve their ability to communicate with our service user as this is his main method of communication, he will also communicate via gestures and facial expressions and short sentences.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

  • PEG Feed
  • Oral Suctioning
  • Working with nonverbal service users

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time Nights
  • 10pm 7am

Take a look at our payrates

Weeknights:
£13.50 per hour (£135 approx. per 10hr shift)

Weekends:
£14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per 10hr shift)

Bank Holiday:
£16.00 per hour (£160 approx. per 10hr shift)
