Speech and Language Therapy Clinical Support Worker - 30 hours per week


We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic clinical support worker to join our friendly and committed speech & language therapy team.

We provide specialist assessment, management and treatment to adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders from a variety of neurological & non-neurological pathologies.

We work in partnership with patients, their carers / family and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.


Tasks include assisting therapists with clinical and clerical tasks such as gathering detailed referral information, carrying out delegated therapy programmes, assisting in the preparation of training materials, organisation of patient's notes, sending out reports and arranging appointments.

The role also includes providing follow-up contact to patients by phone. Excellent IT skills, with the ability to independently manage data collection and spread sheets, are also essential.

We are keen to employ someone who is organised and flexible, who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and who is committed to excellent patient care.

The ability to work autonomously and to arrange your own schedule with the support of senior staff is essential.
Full support, supervision and training will be offered to assist you in your development in this role.
