Overall Purpose of The Job

  • The Head of OT Security is a pivotal leadership role reporting directly to the Global Head of Infrastructure, Operations and Security. The role involves developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the V.Group's OT systems and infrastructure against cyber threats and risks.
    Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement a strategic security plan for operational technology to support ISO accreditation in alignment with the overall V.Group security strategy.
  • Establish clear goals, objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the OT security department.

Risk Management:

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to operational technology.
  • Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to minimise potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Policy and Procedure Development:

  • Formulate and update policies, standards, and procedures related to OT security to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to integrate security requirements into the OT lifecycle processes.

Security Architecture and Design:

  • Design and implement a robust OT security architecture to protect critical assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security measures into the design of new OT systems and technologies.

Incident Management and Response:

  • Develop incident response plans and procedures for OT security incidents, ensuring a swift and effective response to security breaches and cyberattacks.
  • Coordinate incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and reporting.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to OT security.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits to assess compliance with established security standards and guidelines.

Training and Awareness:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and stakeholders about OT security risks and best practices.
  • Foster a securityaware culture within V.Group to enhance vigilance and response to potential threats.

Vendor and Third-Party Management:

  • Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors and thirdparty partners providing OT security services or solutions.
  • Ensure that contracted services adhere to V.Group security policies and requirements.

Essential

  • Extensive experience in operational technology security, including designing and implementing security solutions for OT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OT technologies, protocols, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
