Nottingham/Remote Working
£24,000
37.5 hours, 5 shifts between 9am - 8pm Monday to Saturday, set day off in the week


This role has a scheduled start date of 6th March


Harper Recruitment Group are proud to be working in partnership with Capital One, an award-winning employer and leading financial organisation.


This is an exciting opportunity to join the dedicated Specialist Collections Team but it's not Collections as you know it You'll manage a variety of calls from customers who are experiencing financial difficulty and/or challenging situations in their lives that have led them to fall behind on their credit card payments.

First class training, support and equipment is provided for you to work remotely. You will be based at home with 2 days per month in the office for collaboration and relationship building.

Whilst you are in training (up to 12 weeks) you will be in the office more often, so you must live a commutable distance from Nottingham.


What will the role involve:

Using effective questioning and listening skills to analyse customers account circumstances
Finding sustainable solutions to customer credit problems
Processing payments and organising repayment plans
Understanding industry requirements and remaining compliant
Supporting and signposting customers to external support teams
Providing a high level of customer service at all times

Who are we looking for?

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Passionate about delivering great customer service
A high level of resiliency to deal with challenging and sensitive situations
Ability to make sound judgment decisions
