Angelcare Residential Living, Calderdales exclusive private care home, is hiring Senior Care Assistants to join our renowned home


Senior Carers play a vital role within our care home by bridging the gap between Care Staff and the Deputy & Registered Manager.

Senior Carers must have;

  • Previous experience as a Senior Carer or Team Leader in another organization on a full-time or part-time basis.
  • Minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
  • Level 2 certification in 'Safer Handling of Medication'.
Senior Carers will be in charge of;

  • Coordinating and managing shifts.
  • Administering medication, including supervision of medication stocks and orders.
  • Ensuring the health of our residents, coordinating with District Nurses, GP's, and other healthcare professionals when needed.
The Shift schedule;

Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday


Week 2:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Day Shifts available

Night Shifts available

All breaks are compensated within the full shift pay

The rotation includes Two weeks of daytime shifts and Two Weeks of night shifts.


Salary:
£11.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 12-hour shift

Experience:


  • Medication management: 1 year (required)
  • Senior care experience: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (required)
