Description

As a Catering Assistant working in a hospital, you will be carrying out a range of kitchen and food service activities, ensuring a high-quality service is provided at all times.

You will be required to:

Interact directly with patients
Serve food and beverages to patients
Assist with the collection and washing up of cutlery, crockery and trays
Ensure that tables, chairs, floors and the service area are kept clean and tidy.

To succeed in this this position, you will need:

Experience of working in a hospital environment, would be desirable
Good communication skills and fluent in English both oral and written.
To clear all DBS checks
Willingness to learn.
Good customer service skills.
A basic knowledge of food hygiene. You will receive full training to obtain a level 2 Food Hygiene certificate within the first three months of employment.
