Job Description:

The Creative Copywriter is a key position in the Turnitin Global Creative Services team. Responsible for writing impactful and on-brand marketing and promotional materials for a wide variety of products and services.


This person reports directly to the Creative Director but will also partner directly with marketing teams and colleagues within the business.


Key areas of responsibility

  • Tell our brand story across key touchpoints
  • Develop and evolve tone of voice guidelines
  • Be a champion for brand consistency across all company communications
  • Develop messaging for solutions campaigns
  • Create impactful copy for product launches and releases across a number of formats including, brochures, datasheets, infographics, social advertising, etc
  • Create optimized and accessible web content for products, solutions, and company web pages.
  • Create scripts and guidelines to capture customer stories (across print, web, video case studies and ,advertising)
  • Create print & digital advertising copy (inc multiple variants for A/B testing)
  • Provide creative direction and script development for product videos
  • Must be able to regularly flex schedule across global time zones to further One Team collaboration and execute within a global function

Qualifications:


  • Creative, with passion for content across all platforms i.e. website, video, photography and digital media.
  • Proven track record in producing direct response userfriendly SEO copy.
  • Proactive to keep up to date with the company's products, services and marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to share knowledge and expertise and guide other colleagues.
  • 5+ years experience in content marketing or copywriting for international audience, preferably with an agency
  • Must be able to regularly flex schedule across global time zones to further One Team collaboration and execute within a global function
  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
  • Comfortable working independently with tight deadlines
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
  • Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
  • A brilliant collaborator & communicator. This role is required to partner with designers, digital marketers, content marketers, and product marketers to ensure content is appropriate for the target audience and provides a positive customer experience, in line with the CTAs or business goals
