Join Our Team at Elysian:
Weekend, Evening, and Holiday Volunteers Needed


Are you passionate about animal care and looking to make a meaningful difference? Join our dedicated team at Elysian's Liss site We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our staff in feeding, caring for, taming, and spending quality time with our beloved animals.


Volunteer Positions Available

  • Weekend Slots: A few hours of your time on Saturdays and Sundays (Mornings, evenings or all day)
Evening Slots: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM ( e.g. half an hour or an hour within these times)

  • Morning slots: 7:00 AM 9:00 AM (as above)
  • Holiday Slots: Flexible hours during school holidays

What You'll Do

  • Animal Feeding: Prepare and provide meals, ensuring access to fresh water at all times.
  • Animal Care: Monitor the health and wellbeing of the animals, reporting any concerns.
  • Enrichment Activities: Engage with the animals through activities that promote their physical and mental health.
  • Taming and Socialisation: Spend time with our animals to help them become more comfortable around people.

Who We're Looking For

  • Location: Must live within a commutable distance to our Liss site.
  • Passionate: A genuine love for animals and their welfare.
  • Reliable: Consistent, punctual, and committed to your volunteer role.
  • Observant: Ability to notice changes in animal behaviour or health and report them.
