A well-established Design Consultancy specialising in complex Data Centre design projects are looking to bolster their Architecture team based in Berkshire
This multi-disciplinary firm have provided specialist design expertise for decades and can boast an ever-increasing list of reputable clients.
Operating within a sector that is widely seen as a top-performing investment area in the corporate world - the future looks bright as they look to build on their successes.
With a team that has grown to over 70 in number they are now looking to develop their Architecture branch and this will require a Chartered Architect to come on board in a leadership role.
The Architectural Lead will be responsible for operating as the head of their small Architecture team, currently sitting at 4 people strong, and help to develop the company's overall Architectural offering.
Current projects see the team delivering Stage 2 conceptual layout designs for sites both in the UK and the rest of the world with plans to develop this and offer expertise on further design stages and new build schemes.
The ideal Architectural Lead will come with extensive experience within the UK Architecture industry and be able to demonstrate team management ability.
The company utilise the latest design technology and so Revit proficiency and experience with BIM would be highly sought after.
Architectural Lead Requirements:
- RIBA/ARB Registered Architect
- Direct experience of lead coordinator role, delivering projects at all stages
- Proven team management skills and experience
- Sustainable design accreditation preferred
- Knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines
- Strong knowledge of architectural building systems and the QA/QC process
- Strong knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents
- Confident clientfacing
- Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment
- Experience within the Data Centre sector is highly desirable but not essential
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit & BIM
A highly competitive salary will be on offer to the successful Architect, likely to be up to £80k (dependant on experience), along with company benefits and genuine flexible working options.
The firm currently operate a hybrid working format whereby you will split your days between working in the office and at home if you so wish.
