2nd Line Technical Support Analyst

The role consists of assisting clients via remote support with escalated tickets, providing continual support to the service desk analysts and junior second line team, being able to adapt to any given situation.

Assisting projects team with rollout of newor upgraded technology for our clients.

Major Incident management dealing with P1 and P2 incidents through to resolution and then writing a Major incident report to send to key stake holders.


Essential Experience:


  • Strong knowledge and experience of MS/Office 365 suite of products (Office, Exchange, Azure AD, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune),
  • Working with virtual machines,
  • Connections over Remote Desktop Services,
  • Windows desktop troubleshooting,
  • Active Directory / Group Policy,
  • Managed backup solutions

_Duties involved:
_


  • To provide 2nd & 3rd line technical support to a diverse array of clients. Predominantly service desk based with some occasional on site and project work.
  • Provide occasional onsite support & installations where required
  • To take ownership of problems from logging, prioritising through to resolution
  • To be proactive when dealing with user issues keeping the client updated on the status of their support query
  • To log and action issues identified by proactive monitoring
  • To support and maintain all levels of appropriate documentation
  • To assist in the maintenance and administration of hosted solutions and networks
