Accounts Assistant


I am currently in the market for an
Accounts Assistant to join my established client, based near Aston, Birmingham, on a full-time, permanent basis.


The successful applicant will need strong mathematical skills, a love of numbers and the ability to manage your own workload.

It is a busy role in a small close knit team.


Ideally we are looking for an individual who has experience using Xero with around 2-3 years experience in a similar accounts assistant role.


Immediate start available.

About the role:


  • Collection of data
  • Processing orders
  • Chasing customers for payments
  • Arranging payment runs for suppliers
  • General help around the office
  • Assisting the directors with their tasks too

Hours & Pay:


  • Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm
  • Salary around £26,000 dependent on experience

About you:

-
2-3 years experience within an Accounts Assistant role:


  • 2-3 years experience using Xero:
  • Motivated and organised individual
  • Competent working both individually and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word and Excel
  • Common sense approach and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£20,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
