General Operative

Northern Employment Services are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join the team of one of the leading food manufacturing companies based in Manchester (close to the Trafford Centre).

The role will be an ongoing full-time contract.
Start dates are only provided once we have received all 5 years' worth of employment and character references.
The selected applicant will undergo thorough background checks spanning the last 5 years (references required)

Working hours:

4 days on 2 days off shift pattern (flexible to work weekends)

10am to 6:30pm

Pay Rate:

£10.42 per hour

Your role as a General Operative will include but is not limited to:

Dishwashing

- receiving a quantity of cutlery and loading onto a conveyer belt which will then go through a large industrial sized dishwasher.

Assisting in the Production Process

- packing service trollies with the correct quantity of packed food/drink

Preparation of food

- preparing dishes (readily made) for business and first class, having a good eye for detail.

Assembly
Assembling, packing and positioning of the aircraft equipment.
Packing/labelling
Any other duties required by management.

Essential requirements:

Fully flexible for all shifts under the current climate, with an immediate start
Ability to work towards deadlines.
Keen eye for detail
Full training provided along with PPE provided and food safety training.
