Modus Careers is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Welding Inspector to join a business with a very strong order book that is currently going through a period of rapid growth, based in Haverhill, Suffolk.


About the Role:
As the Welding Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of welding operations.

You will bring your expertise in welding processes, IWE and/or CSWIP certification, and exceptional coordination skills to oversee welding activities and maintain the highest quality standards and compliance.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate welding activities, including inspecting and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, providing technical support and expertise in welding processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance of welding equipment and ensure the highest levels of safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain weld integrity.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements, ensuring the adoption of best practices.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Welding Inspector with IWE and/or CSWIP certification as a strong advantage.
  • Indepth knowledge of welding procedures, codes, and standards.
  • Strong coordination and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with diverse teams.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and a strong focus on maintaining quality and precision.
