Description

Provide specialist advice under break-down conditions to staff of all disciplines whilst working on solutions to the problem.

Provide highly complex scientific and technical advice on imaging, treatment planning and dosimetric issues to radiotherapy consultants, radiographers,clinical Scientists and clinical Technologists regarding patient external beam radiotherapy.

Liaise with manufacturers and colleagues at other centres as necessary on issues related to radiotherapy computing systems, treatments, imaging andimage optimisation.

Discuss with clinical staff and patients issues associated with radiotherapy treatment set up, radiobiological, dosimetric and other issues describingcomplex scientific information and its implications on the patients treatment.
