About the Role
We are looking for a Proposal Associate to support the Commercial team in developing proposals, budgets and contracts for new and ongoing opportunities
What will your job look like?
- A primary focus on facilitating the process for new requests for Proposal (RFP), including Proposal document development, pricing, and vendor quotes
- Work with heads of departments and project managers to develop the RFP proposal document, and to build out pricings for new opportunities using the Clinical and Early Access Program (EAP) pricing tool
- Work effectively and proactively with all company personnel, in order to ensure that full service, innovative solutions for clients are identified and delivered
- Work with heads of departments and project managers to build out pricings for change in scope requests
- Work with the legal department to support the development of work orders and change in scopes which can be submitted to clients
- To interact with clients to build out pricings and budgets for new work orders and change in scopes
- To negotiate service offerings with clients and prospective clients, including pricing offerings, payment terms
- Assist in supporting the business development strategy and sales process for the Company
- Actively maintain the CRM platform to assist with the business development strategy and sales process
- To develop and build metrics in relation to the pricing of opportunities
- Support market and client information/intelligence gathering and analysis
- Actively support business opportunities/leads in line with business strategy
- Assist the Commercial Team in the preparation and targeted dissemination of marketing campaigns, materials, and literature, including by traditional methods (printed brochures etc) and by current methods such as social media
- Proactively, professionally, and competently communicate with clients, suppliers, prospective clients and other third parties and stakeholders, in order to promote and deliver excellent, client service
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science or related field with proven Business Development experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience as a healthcare professional
- Experience within a Clinical Research Organisation would be preferable but not essential
- An understanding of the principles of drug discovery and development
