Catering Assistant (part-time)

32.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time only)

Actual Salary = £15,820 per annum:
Grace Garden School is an exciting and innovative provision which offers full time education to children from 9-16 years who have significant/complex social, emotional or educational difficulties

You will need a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, or equivalent.

Experience of working with vulnerable young people with learning disabilities would be an advantage, as you will be required to work with students under the supervision of the Catering Lead.

Main Duties will include:

Prepare and cook lunches and other meals as required, using biodynamic and organic produce
Cleaning food areas, including the dining room, the kitchen and all equipment
Serving meals, ensuring presentation is to the required standard
Ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Ordering food under the direction of the Catering Lead
A flexible and professional approach to work is required
